No wonder they say, mining is a lousy business...belongs to the 19th century "choo choo economy". But somehow the idea of exploration and th lure of being able to hold shiny precious metals on your hands gives mining a "ROMANTIC FEEL" that few other industry has.....say cut price long distance call, or insurance, or making zippers or rasing cattel and slaughtering them for meat and skin
